What wireless networks are available at Georgetown?

All members of the university community, including students, faculty, staff, and other affiliates, as well as visitors, can use Georgetown Wireless Services. No special accounts or provisioning are required. Individual users or departments may need to purchase 802.11b or 802.11n-compatible wireless cards for devices.

The Georgetown Wireless Services wireless networks are currently available inside and outside campus buildings both on and off campus. Although you may be able to connect in other locations, access to Georgetown Wireless Services is not guaranteed or supported outside of the areas where UIS provides service.
