Email Parse Error
"Parse error ..." while attempting to access email means that email is not available for this NetID.
There are three common causes that I can think of, but all mean the same thing -- no email:
1)No active affiliations for a NetID if for a former employee, former SUA or former MedStar affiliate (alumni and former students usually have continued access to Gmail)... This situation is evident with a guDeleteFlag visible in the right pane of the IdM Triple Pane tool.
2)The NetID has a single affiliation of MedStar but we don't provide email Resources for MedStar affiliates. This is visible via in Service Center patron information -- the email address has "...@medstar.net" or "...@gunet.georgetown.edu" (less common). This is also visible in the right mail of the IdM Triple Pane tool (see Mail attribute).
3)The NetID has alumni affiliation, and they graduated prior to the implementation of Gmail for GU students (2011?) so there's a "lockout" on their use of mail until the alumna/us claims their Georgetown email account via the "Claim Your Georgetown Email Account" web page (https://alumnimigration.georgetown.edu/).
