Classroom Quick Start

For the Georgetown Law Campus buildings — McDonough Hall, Hotung Building, and Edward B. Williams Library


PC & Accessories

  1. Display for PC (some have touch-enabled controls)
  2. Rechargeable Battery Station
  3. Wired Keyboard
  4. Wired Mouse (Wireless keyboard & mouse are also available at podium)


  • Do NOT shut down the PC


Presentation Clicker

  1. On/Off Switch (on the side)
  2. Previous Slide/Up
  3. Next Slide/Down
  4. On the gray clicker, mouse
    On the black clicker, laser pointer
  5. On the gray clicker, laser pointer


  • The clicker model found in the classroom may vary


Lavalier Microphone

  1. Mute/Unmute Switch
  2. On/Off Switch (located inside the microphone pack)
  3. Battery Compartment Latch (use the release sliders on the left/right side of the pack to open and reveal the switch)

Camera & Microphone

Each classroom has a camera facing the traditional speaker area and display. Each classroom is also equipped with a ceiling-mounted microphone system to capture the audio of all participants. In order to be heard clearly on video conferencing platforms or lecture recordings, speak as if you're talking to someone across the room. If anyone has trouble hearing, use the provided lavalier microphone.
