Sharing Your Device Screen
Our classroom technology is designed to allow you to share your screen from anywhere in the room by using the Zoom Screen Share feature.
1. Launching Zoom
Open the Zoom app on the PC in the classroom by clicking the Zoom icon on the desktop, taskbar, or Start Menu. Zoom should already be signed in to the classroom's account. For this case, you don't need to sign out of the Zoom account.
2. Starting a Zoom Meeting
If you're sharing your screen only with in-person participants, click the orange camera icon to start an instant meeting. Otherwise, join the Zoom meeting with distant participants to ensure they can see your screen.
3. Viewing Meeting Info
Click the Meeting Info button on the bottom bar to view the Meeting ID and password for the Zoom meeting. You can also click the green check badge at the top left of the window to do the same. Use your personal device to join the Zoom meeting with Meeting Info (Meeting ID & password) shown.
4. Sharing Your Screen
On your personal device, click the green Share icon on the bottom bar to share your screen. You can share the whole screen or just a window.
Ensure any other devices in the room connected to the meeting are muted and have microphones turned off. Otherwise, you will have audible feedback during your meeting.
