The Georgetown GlobalProtect VPN enables authorized faculty, staff*, and associates to connect to designated resources on the University network securely from both on-campus and off-campus locations. The GlobalProtect VPN can be used on the following operating systems: Windows Mac iOS (iPhone/iPad) Android Notes:   All Georgetown VPN users are required to enroll in Georgetown Duo in order to connect to the VPN. *Georgetown students who are classified as employees are eligible for VPN access to the Georgetown network. Student employees are eligible for VPN access if they have a demonstrated requirement to access certain resources on the University network. Students with employee status often include: research assistants teaching assistants grad students faculty-sponsored positions

The Georgetown GlobalProtect VPN client and Duo are required for using the University VPN connection. Certain network resources may require a specific VPN group membership and role. Memberships in VPN groups and roles are authorized by the VPN group manager.
